mastercam and Norton antivirus

Hello .

 

 How  to configure antivirus soft (Norton in my case ) not to clash with Mastercam ? 

    My Mastercam keeps  freezing  from time to time ,probably Norton is issue .

I've been running Norton for 10 years with no issues

You might want to try turning off the Community Feedback Program

If it can't get through your firewall when it phones home, it can cause Mastercam to freeze

What I am seeing is the running performance tasks and Autosave is on. There is some conflict there. I have my Autosave set at 30 minutes and sometimes I need to take care of some things and step away. When I do Norton then preforms is performance tasks and Autosave will happen and that will create a debug 32 window pop up. That is a crash of Mastercam and your done. I refuse to run a computer with Windows Defender. 

I have turned off the Idle Time Optimizer in the Settings of Norton and we will see if that fixes what I keep seeing. I keep thinking to do it, but today this thread pushed me to get it done.
