FINISH RASTER XY PARA. PASSES

HEAVY METAL

What would be best too path direction   to limit tool deflection and good finish  . Step  over in XY or step down Z  ? This is about 11 inches deep and 20 across cavity . Using a 1 Inch insert ball cutter .

High speed raster produces a good looking to path stepping  over in xy. Any thoughts about going opposite direction.

Thanks

I usually go all the way across with Blend, no need for 1/2 and 1/2, although from a time point of view its mox nix. Don't forget if you use Blend your Blend Contours drive the tip of the tool so you need to offset them to control your Start/Finish depth.
