Hello friends,

Is there switch on the post to post out feed rate per revolutions? My company just switch to Mastercam from Gibbscam last week. So I have to learn  to minor modify post to have some program to to test run  in the mean time waiting to order all posts.

Best regards.

Hello Alex,

I don't see the Misc Integer #6 indicate Unit/rev on my post .  We have Okuma on our shop and use the Okuma OSP5020M 4X Mill.post for. Any idea?

Best regards.

Where did you get the post? It is a pretty basic post mod. Get a hold of your dealer and they should be ableto get it sorted out for you.

Hello Leon82,

I was in that section but did not see any switch to change start from #OKUMA CANNED CYCLES

.....

" ptap$            #Canned Tap Cycle (G74/G84)
      pdrlcommonb
      pg71out
      if tap_ipr,
        [
        feed = 1 / n_tap_thds$    #Calc the IPR feedrate
        pcan1, pbld, n$, "G95", e$ #Set for IPR feed mode
        tapping = yes$            #Flag that we are IN a G84 tapping cycle
        ]
      pcan1, pbld, n$, *sgdrill, pxout, pyout, pfzout, pcout,
        prdrlout, dwell$, *feed, pm53out, strcantext, e$
      pcom_movea "

Thanks for help.

Metric.

For that to work you have to turn the flag on and it's in there somewhere.

Under the bracket you can add that line I posted and it will post it out. But if you use this for other machines it may not be desired.

So if you want to limp thru till you have a custom post you can make a copy for the okuma

Metric,

Have you e-mailed us a version of your post yet? I have not come across it.

Once you send it in, I will add that logic in for you.
