You can't import solid geometry when importing the advanced multiaxis paths.  So you will have to select geometry on your part after you import it.  Open Jay's original file and see what geometry he selected.  You will likely have to select geometry for the three options   in the cut pattern page (from, to, and surface) and any check surfaces that are active in the collision control page, once you have done that, it should at least calculate the path, and then you can adjust from there.

That is what I did.  I couldn't find where to select the check surfaces.  Now that YOU said where, (collision control page), I can now select them!
