Is there a way to turn of the stock models from all my operations, so that when I open the mastercam part file each time, all the stock models are displayed?

After I open the part file I have to go thru each stock model and toggle the switch to display each one and turn them off.

Can I ask why this would be a good thing for you to see them on when opening a file? It use to be that way and I hated it even when they were turned off, but if you save the file with them on then it should open with them on now. Are you now seeing that in 2018, because I do if they are off the file opens and they stay off if they are on when saved and closed then they come in on when opened.

Are you asking for no matter what the file opens and they show like past versions that was not working correctly?

I as my process of programming also define the stock as a stock model I then work through the parts and may have one or 50 more stock models so I have a hared time wrapping my brain how it would help since the raw stock model will be shown over every other one from that point. Sorry if I come across wrong in my response I am really curious and want to have a better understanding of the request.

We have requested for a better control process for stock models and maybe if that control process comes this will be one of those things that will be added. Shoot an email to [email protected] and they will log your request.
