RETRACT X THEN Z

I am curious to know if there is a setting to retract in X then Z in lathe when using the tail stock. Currently I have to manually edit the code after posting.

You can edit your Post Processor to do anything you could possibly imagine. I have been posting "perfect" NC Code for years, by learning how to edit and control the Post output. I'd recommend browsing through the Post Development forum, and requesting a copy of the "MP Documentation" from your Reseller. That should help give you an idea if this is something you want to do yourself, or if you would be better off paying someone to make the edits for you...

Colin I appreciate your thoughts, but I feel a post mod isn't really needed. Use the process to do the work and that solves your problem.
