I'm not on my laptop, my desktop does not have on-board graphics so this screen shot is for reference.  You can go into the device manager and disable the on-board (probably intel) and force it to use the Nvidia for everything.  I usually have to do that on laptops.

explain in detail???? lol, the new laptop my company bought me still wants to run the intel card. SolidWorks tends to run like xxxxe.

If windows 10, simply click on start and type in "device manager" and click it.  Then click on "display adapters" and right click on the one you want to kill, click disable.  Reboot and you are totally running your graphics card.
