Word spacing in text

The text box modifications in Mastercam 19 are a step in the right direction, still leaves a lot to be desired.

Does anyone know how to set the kerning (space between words) in text? There is a "spacing" setting, but it doesn't effect the spacing between words in a string of text. I find I have to create the text and manually translate it tighter to where it used to be.

Put an "i" where the spaces are and then delete them.

I use underscores so it's slightly more than a regular letter but one click to select it to delete.

Hey, different question on the same text theme:

I'm trying to adjust vertical spacing between separate strings of text (think paragraph engraving). The default that 2019 is giving me has the tops of some letters overlapping the tails of the string above. I can't find a space adjustment other than creating every string separate so I can window each of them and translate in the Y.

We do a lot of letter creation...sometimes it requires a triple space to look okay. On a small space sometimes we move each letter to get it to machine properly and look okay.
