Get list of holders and tool assemblies using NETHook_3.

Recommended Posts

Hi there,

I'm working on a tool managment system for factory and I would like to import partial data to my system from Mastercam.
I found SearchManager which perfect fit for getting tools (drill/mill), but it does not provide holders and tool assemblies.
Is it possible somehow to get more access to tooldb through NETHook or other API?

Thanks a lot for answers.

Should I use ToolNetApi.dll only with NET-hook?
I'm asking because I've tried to use it in a simple console application, but I could not even start this app because of exception:
"System.BadImageFormatException: 'Could not load file or assembly 'ToolNetApi, Version=21.0.0.10745, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format.'"
I also tried add all references which are needed for ToolNetApi.dll, but it had not worked too.

jeff.D, I use Mastercam Design 2019 installed on Windows 10 (x64).

Mick George, yes, I understand that NET-Hook has to be a class library.
I tried to add only ToolNetApi.dll into a console app because ToolNetApi.dll does not have any references to other Mastercam dlls.
Can ToolNetApi.dll work without NET-Hook?

Thanks a lot for answers.
