Gnomon label

Is there any way to turn this off? We need the gnomon displayed, but the label obsures the info we need on our setup sheets, that we create using viewsheets.

Nevermind, I just switched to using the Verisurf gnomon

Using the Verisurf gnonom doesn't fix it.

Neither of the other 2 programmers MC display the label, it's got to be a setting somewhere, but I've been unable to find it.

Argh! I looked thru every setting in configuration. I never gave that icon a thought, the gear icon yes, but I didn't realize that one had anything but the column selections.

haha, we both had the wrong version.  I don't think you can separately turn it off in 2018.

Nope that was added and when I asked about it was told that is an enhancement that was made to the software. Yes a real pain when you want to show the Gnomon and not have it obscure notes and texts, but I have just move them outside of that so I can see them.

rename it to a decimal point.   so its small and kinda out of the way more than a paragraph description of the view

Edit: whups nevermind, after re-reading your original post i see that he only wants the Label removed, this method removes both the label and the Gnomon so this is probably not actually what you were looking for either in hind sight. Might still be able to do this though if you have a verisurf gnomon that can be turned on or i can send you a Solid Model of a Gnomon if anyone needs it that i have created to be used in various training files.
