.SET Tool List

Recommended Posts

Did a quick search but couldn't actually find an answer to the question:

Is it possible to launch a .SET file for tool list from the R/H click Ops menu?

If so how, if not how can I launch it as standalone?

Tried reselecting at the Post Dialog Box stage but it wouldn't give me a .SET option

It should work if you set the Configuration File to use .SET.

Once you enable the type of Setup Sheet to launch, then "Right-click > Setup Sheet" should launch .SET.

Since you want to use a .SET to generate Setup info, remind me and I'll show you how to launch it automatically in 'ppost$', so it just does a new sheet, every time the file is posted out.

Hey Colin

Is there another place in the tree other than Toolpaths tab dropdown? If I change it here it changes the set up sheet output but still calls Active reports Toollist via the Active reports viewer.

Actually Colin and I ended up taking a different route to achieve my requirements, although we did use the functions listed.

I ended up launching my tool list using a modified .pst and .set to launch reports via the right click ops menu. It was the best option for my company, but not the only option.

Do the basic Mill course on his You Tube channel and you will be in a better position to follow this mod. Get the MP documentation, without that you will almost certainly struggle.
