setting default tool library

I've been working on creating a tool library for what I have available at my shop. the only problem is MC reverts to its original "lathe inch" library every time I open it. I'm wondering how I would go about setting my custom library as default so it will be active upon startup?

in "file", "config"  pick your default as shown below

Odd as it may seem you must go through the Machine Definition Manager and set it there for the defaults or for a specific machine lathe, mill, or router.

I have seen improvements with keeping track of the holder library being using in 2019, but we still don't have the ability to assign this in the Beta version. I have merged tools and holders into one and then called that holder library so I don't even have to go back and pick a holder for a size I am using.
