any body wanna help me learn how to figure this out. Would love to know how to identify and correct the problem

Go check out the string select table at line 1254 in your .pst file.

I see this error a lot when dealing with older post running newer Mastercam versions. What I suspect is happeneing in that the post is trying to set a comment string based on what type of toolpath your programmed. As new toolpath types get added, the number entered into the string select table exceeds the number if strings it can look at and it gives you this error.

If you can send in a code stippet of the string select table that is causing the error I can check if it needs and update and show you what lines need to be changed.
