Could use some help with a pst err

wasnt getting enough attention in the post section so I figured I'd ask here. I am getting a post error. I would love to know how to decipher what the error is trying to tell me. I have been digging through the MP documentation but honestly have no clue. How do you figure out whats wrong so that you can fix it? Thanks for any help

also it is only 1 toolpath that create the error. A projection toolpath. Looks right in the settings, and verify and back plot. Got me stumped..

I believe this means you have updated an older post to a new version of Mastercam that contains a tool path comment 

the old version does not support.

This applies to comments  only,  not the gcode output by the toolpath

Gcode is correct. You've used a HST path, or one of the new finishing paths, and there is a Comment Output "String Select Table", that needs to be updated to work properly.

All of the lines in the error file are just "standard report info", except one; the line with the "RUN TIME" error.

This tells you the error occurred on line 1254 in the Post. You can use Alt + G to search for that line in Code Expert.

I bet it is 'shstop' variable, or something like that. (String Select Table).

how do you guys know so much? Either way I am grateful for the nudge... I will most likely just use my newer MP Master than.. lol Thank you for the help

1. This forum has taught me a lot of what I know about Mastercam.
2. The "in-depth Post Stuff" is explained in the MP Post Documentation.
3. I was fortunate to work at CNC Software for a few years.
