Since moving to MC2019 if  saving a model from Mastercam 2019 as an .xt file and try to open it in Solidworks 2017 i get a "modeler version error"???

Anyone heard of this yet.

Yup...

Mastercam 2019 is newer than SW 2017...

So you are saving it as a newer version than SW's can open...

Do a Save As in  MCAM, there is an options box, pick an older version of parasolid....try something like 5 or 6 version older

In the Save As field,  select Options and roll the version back to V28

You can make this setting permanent on the Converters page in System Config
