Tool path setup

Recommended Posts

We just switched from MC  '18 to '19.  Now my toolpaths just show a single line where the tool would enter a hole for instance.  Before, there would be a circle top and bottom relative to the size of the tool.

It was very useful when toggling back and forth between a drill and reamer for instance, showing the two tool sizes in the same hole.  Was this a change, or is it a default that I'm not finding?  Thanks for any help.

I take it this is in back plot? There are a bunch of buttons in the top of the control dialog box. These display or turn off different components of the backplot.

It is.  I've tried all of them.  I hate updates.

Then get out of this business now...

This business is going through dynamic changes and things on all fronts are changing quickly..

If a person, noit you pre se, cannot deal well with change, they are already behind and will fall further so...

Good luck!!

You're right.  From here on out I'll love updates, changes, needy customers and Monday mornings.

Mcfish, this is an update and improved function.  It allows more control over your backplot appearance.  You can play with these settings to get what you want:
