You can usually block macro programs but locking variables could be problematic if the machine is using them. At the very least I think we would need the name of the control.

A little more clarity on what you are asking. What are you getting vs. what you want. Are you saying that you have a variable set up to count parts, but it causes an alarm? If you lock the variable how does it increment?

You will probably need to show more of the code.

Are you sure the variable isn't being used in a non custom macro?
