x+ Setup Sheet question

I used to use the X+ setup sheet amd loved it.  I nade my own setup sheet and it was working great.  This was back during X5 mastercam.  When I moved to X6 it all stopped working.  I never went back to it because my shop had me go to another software.  I am back with mastercam now and I want to get it working again.  I have the original files that I used for my setup sheet and do not know how to get it working.  I do not remember if the file needs to have the file with a .template extention or not.  Can somebody help me here?

i would recommend looking at the active reports designer tutorials found here https://www.mastercam.com/en-us/Support/Tutorials/Mastercam, it'll be listed under the 2018 tutorials.

  • default.template -> saves your dialog settings (your setup)
  • default.css -> this will be included in your html report and tells the explorer how to render the html document (color, font, borders etc)
  • dafault.js -> this file will be included in your html report (if it exists) and gives the advanced users full control over the html document (no limits).

So, if you create your own template let's say "MySetup.template" you should also have at least a "MySetup.css". A good start would be to just copy the "default.css" to "MySetup.css"
