Doosan Parameters

Recommended Posts

So, 15 mins ago our Doosan stalled trying to tap a 1-8 thread.  What I didn't know is Doosan is set to tap holes in high gear.  No matter the speed that its set to, it wants to tap in high gear only.

Would anyone know how to change this?  Currently we don't have a threadmill to do a 1-8 hole...

If you change your spindle speed to lets say 600 does it still give you alarm? I don't work with those Doosan mills anymore but all I remember is we were tapping metric sizes as small as m4 or m5 and as big as m20 but we always had to run the spindle really high or it would go into alarm, I hope you figure it out!
