Question about posting

Recommended Posts

Good morning everybody sorry for asking so many questions but  I'm  kind of new to Mastercam and I appreciate your help. Here is my question. We use Cimco editor to post but we also use it to transfer programs  from the computer to the machine. How can I go back to the  old way so when my guys are transfer programs from Cimco to the machine I loose  everything  I had in MC....sorry kind of hard to explain.

we use Cimco to transfer programs  from the computer to the machine and whatever I have drawn up on  the screen  it disappears  I can't come back to it  and have to redraw it all over again.

Sounds like it was never saved...

Have you tried saving your file before posting?

Save and save often. Nothing is more frustrating that having an hour or two into programming a part and having Mastercam crash or something else happen and you lose all the work you have done.
