Milling Wood

Recommended Posts

so we got this job again... from time to time, its some kind of resin but feels like wood. on my old leadwell i would throw it on no problem. but with my 2 new fanucs im not to thrilled about it trying to pass the job to an older machine. fine powder gets under the ways and cloggs up all the coolant lines. im thinking of trying to plastic wrap all the ways with tape, and somehow mount a vacuum to one of the coolant sprayers as they wont be needed, anyone ever done something like this and it worked ok. boss was like just machine it, they can buy a new machine if it gets messed up. he has since sold the company to new owners.
