3 Emergency Alarm on Mazak

Recommended Posts

Hi first time poster here looking to solve the following alarm on our Mazak Quick Turn Smart 250M.

Alarm shown is "3 Emergency Stop &0000FFBF"

Prior to getting this alarm we had removed the tailstock motor and the ball screw to replace. Figured we would need to connect motor  while we are waiting for ball screw

parts so that we can at least run the machine without the tailstock for now. Getting this alarm now and  I've made sure there is no emergency stop pressed and have also

tried pressing the "MF1/MF2 + reset to clear alarm with no avail.

First issue is getting rid of the emergency stop alarm so I can try resetting the Tail Int Set/Tail Home Set functions to get up and running again hopefully.

Hope to get some insights and answers from the community.

Thanks

Machine is setup with a tailstock, with the tailstock not available, it's likely getting bad feedback causing the alarm...

Not sure which parameter but you may need to go in and disable the tailstock until it's repaired, then reinitialize the machine with it again

Thanks for your response

I tried looking how to disable the tailstock  in the manual but could not find how.

If anyone knows how that would be very helpful.
