surface finish blend

I like to use the old surface finish blend sometimes just a nice program for certain things, does anyone know if they replaced it with a newer high speed tool path, if so which one is it, and what are the settings. Thanks in advance.

Yes there is a HSpeed version of the blend tpath

If you right click in the operations manager you'll see all the mill tpaths were as there is a limited view in the dropdowns

The blend tpath in the dropdown opens the new tpath interface, to get to the legacy blend you need to open the tpaths from the operations manager

I know where the legacy tool path is and use it, just looking for a high speed replacement and settings.

What exactly are you looking for?

It's the blend tpath in the HSpeed format so it adds the surface selection utility, gouge check strategies, hspeed linking  functions

sorry I just dont see any blend in the HS stuff, I must be missing it.

Are you working in Mcam 2020?

in 2019, if you have multi-axis you can try to use Blend between curves, that's about as close as you'll get in 2019

the High Speed Blend path was part of 2020's release so you wont find it in 2019, 2019 only has the legacy version of the blend toolpath

That is the 2D tpath on the left of your screen shot, Terry is looking specifically for a 3D surface tpath

Oops. I misunderstood. I thought he wanted the High Speed path.

That is a 2D tpath, it does not use surface geometry to drive it
