Invalid arc warning in 2020 Lathe

Hi,

I'm getting invalid arc warning  on some of my operations in MasterCam 2020 lathe. I'm doing some OD grooving and ID turning. Never seen this in 2019.

It does some weird moves and looks like gauging my part.

Is anyone else  seeing this warning in 2020 lathe?

Double check the planes you have associated to the previous tpaths. If you're programming for a single spindle upper turret you should be using lathe upper left.

I only have a single spindle upper left in machine definition. Somehow I was getting G55 on couple of my toolpaths.

you need to check the planes in the lower left corner of your tpaths

Yes, I did that. When I simplified the cutting geometry " took out edge breaks ", Now I don't get that error message !!!

Canned turning tpaths?

No canned turning. edge breaks on geometry. I can not duplicate the issue anymore!!! I can not trust MasterCam 2020, going back to 2019 for now.

I attached a simplified version of the file. I was having issues on operation 2 and 4.

Somehow you ended up with a C-axis right hand tplane associated to the turning tpaths
I opened the planes utility in the tpath and re-selected the lathe upper left to reset

Regen the tpaths, run the backplot, no errors

Thank you. I did not see that. Not sure how that happened because I did not apply any live tooling toolpaths on this part!!!!

switching views, if your construction/tool plane is tied to the graphics view it updates just by changing the G-View
