Mazak 640 Machine

Im trying to switch the tooloffset page to where it reads the length and the wear. I know its a parameter but just cant remember which one. I think its an L parameter. Right now it only reads length.

Yea - I agree, cept I'm having an issue figuring out what the L code / parameter means for a Mazak CNC Lathe...

I've looked everywhere online, seems for mazaks its very limited information about G+M code programming...

 

Whats happening is, mastercam posted out a block with a L2 code and nothing was happening.   Problem is, CIMQUEST gave me a Mazak nexus post file, claimed its quite similar to a Mazak multiplex - turns out that's not entirely true... So i'm at a total loss of how to go about getting this working, and CIMQUEST basically wants me to figure it out >.<

You have to go through the versions page. Go Diagnosis, version ,right soft key twice, then you should be able to type in the box. Type 1131.Then hit Diagnosis again then version again and now to the far right there should be another tab that says version hit it. Then its actually a Q parameter its the Q4 it needs to be set to 4 mine was on 1. I would power down and power back up as this may need that procedure.
