Stock Setup using CHOOK or NETHOOK

Recommended Posts

I am currently looking for information on creating stock setup and accessing the dimensions of the stock using a Chook or Nethook (or both if necessary). I'm not sure if this functionality exists in the chook SDK or NETHOOK_3.This would be for use in Mastercam 2018.

Update I didn't see anything in the object browser for NETHOOKS. However in the CHOOK sdk In Groups_CH.h if you create op_group * machine->ogi.pg3 it is commented as stock setup, looks like this could be the place..

Were you able to set up the stock? I'm trying to do the same thing.

Hi David,

Yes I was able to get it working easily using the nethook API, here is a function that makes a rectangular stock setup

Mastercam 2022,

I have LatheBarStock.dll (provided by cnc software) but it require to manually open and close the stock menu in order to make the settings effective.

Hi David,

I can't answer this question here,

If you shoot me an email at [email protected]  I can show you how to resolve your issue,

it may be quite involved work,
