Random Problem with Selection?

Hey Guys,

OK random problem here that i cant find a way to fix, so i was hoping someone else might have the answer.

I'm using Master-cam 2019/Verisurf.

For some unknown reason i have suddenly lost the ability to "select" surfaces or solids. I have the AUTO HIGHLIGHT turned on and SOLIDS BY FACES also. it has always worked before but just stopped suddenly.

I know the item is selected by the "selected entities" counter at the bottom but it wont Highlight the item? Any help on this would be appreciated and hopefully its something simple. thank you so much in advance.

 

i should also add that i can select any other wire frame item but no solids or surfaces, and my SOLID selection icons under the autocurser menu is greyed out.

I run into this from time to time. Save your work and re-start Mastercam is the fix I use. Not sure why it does it, but that seems to fix it for me.

Thanks Corey, i have tried that but its still a no go. Im just trying to not have to delete the config and start over but its looking more likely. thank you!!

Have you tried restarting the computer?

i just turned off nvidia desktop manager and some of my little gremlins want away.

just a stab in the dark you didnt detail all ingredients.
