Planes origin jumping around

Often, if I set a plane off of a solid face and then I move the origin, the origin will jump back to its original(no pun intended) position.  AM I the only one?  AM I doing something wrong?

I've seen this enough that I just create the plane on the face, green check out and then right click, edit, grab the grey ball and move it.  It's just how I work any more.

Yes we have this problem too.   The solution for us is to lock the planes once they are created.  Unlock it if you need to move it and lock again.

It's a PITA but that gets the job done in a safe manner.

I believe this has been logged as a bug in 2020. Yes, it is frustrating.

Locking planes?  That's a new one for me?  How do I lock them?

In the plane manager, right click on the name of the plane and select Lock/unlock -> Selected.

+1 for locking the planes.

Once I get a plane where I want it I always lock it.
