Tool colliding with stock. Machine returning not to home position set. Returning to reference point

Hello, I am not a programmer and completely rely on mastercam  to do my laith jobs.

When it comes to changing tools, we declare a home position in toolpath parameters of mastercam 2018. No matter what value I put there, the machine goes back to the reference point in execution.

How can this be fixed. I would appreciate it if you could explain me in layman's terms, as I have very less experience in lathe machines.

Thank you in advance

I suggest getting a hold of your dealer since you are not a Lathe Programmer. You need someone who is a Lathe programmer to sit down or do a GoToMeeting with you to help you sort this out.
