Ok well I cannot send you a msg explaining. I am asking for the company named in the lower right corner when the editor is sold under so I can check the licenseing to make sure you did not get the wrong license.
Did you know I spent the last few years as tech support for Cimco?
I was able to reconstruct the file using import operations. It didn't even take too long. Lost all the solids and some geometry were messed up, but it is postable.
Thanks.
"Q" = depth of cut (peck amount)
"I0" = deep hole tapping (retract to R between between pecks)
"I1" = high speed tapping amount to retract set in parameter F10.
Been broken since about 2018. It has to be done through the planes manager. Click the position in the planes manager and go pick a point then it will associate it. This cannot be done when 1st creating the new plane. Create the plane 1st then click on the position arrow in the planes manager and now the programmer have the ability associate it to the point or feature they wanted. Right clicking and editing the plane will not give the programmer this ability. This is the only way I have found that works.
Greyed out even after plane is created.
I used the one from ISCAR on a project and we were using a 2" 3 Flute tool cutting 1200 IPM at 24000 RPMS taking .125 Depth of Cut by 1.2" Width of cut. That worked out to 180 MMR.
I used notepad to post mod.
NCPlot to backplot because it can handle sub progs and is so sweet to use.
Beyond Compare for file comparing - cheap as chips and again was sweet to use.
I asked on the official Mcam forum in the beta once what was so special about code expert, and I got laughed at - literally - and given the one main reason to use it because it was written in the latest software language (C+ or whatever - I can't remember) where the mastercam editor was "so old". Although that worked well and I certainly liked it.
But it still cannot handle sub progs?
Hmmmm.....
Look in the lower corner of the software window to see if has your company name or licensed to Mastercam user world wide.
