Our maintenance went up 12% ... but new for 2019 is PostCare, maintenance on purchased posts from Postability and InHouse
As we have about a dozen purchased posts, that added a big chunk to our annual maintenance bill.
I'm not complaining though. I've got posts from Postability that we've been tweaking for 5 or 6 years ... for free.
That is not a sustainable business model... post writers got to eat too.
Well I can't pass the Mastercam U stuff so have to agree with everyone here. Take one of your parts and have them program it. Question is what is your process? Does the programmer do it all or only program? Me I have to come up with the order of operations, design the fixture, program the fixture, pick the tools and holders, sometimes model the part, program the part, make the setup sheet, tool list, post the code and verify the code. Other times I have to get the post working, solve the CAV issues and then help fix machine issues. Really comes down to hat your needing then just feel them out. I know a lot of Mastercam programmers who have never cut a chip in their life. They can make Mastercam stand on it's head, but go run that program on the machine and you see where the rubber meets the road.
All the best in your search.
Look on the misc page of post that won't output rotations
mpmaster posts have a switch that forces one WO output
# mi9 - Lock on First WCS - Set in first operation
# 0 = No
# 1 = Yes
This is set on the Misc page of each operation.. if it's set to one by default, that is your problem
I thought maybe someone get sick of us complaining about the trim/extend functions being split up and maybe the plug to the server accidentally got kicked out or something
