Repair file is the same thin just renamed.

You could use Canned Text instead of Misc. Int./Misc. Reals as well. I think it's a cleaner method.

5 axis Curve must be driven correctly to respect the walls. I tried downloading the file, but not working. Swarf is using the walls to define the cut and it works differently. With surface you may need to define enough vectors that align with the walls to get it to respect the walls. Have you tired posting and running the swarf toolpath? Just because it looks clean doesn't make it clean.

can you share the file? I would be curious to see how the Model Prep solid repair tools might help like simplify solid, etc.

Get better models as that is the real problem not Mastercam, but you probably don't want to hear that.

There is one box to add a new line up at the top and at the bottom there's a box that says add codes. So insert like 10 lines and copy the example

I recommend looking online for some resources about regular expressions. It’s a vast topic, and it’s not one I’m qualified to cover; but I’ll do my best to break down the key parts of the regex. Starting off we have a word boundary \b. Next we match ‘M’ literally. The open and closing parentheses define a match group. The numbers between the braces define a range of values to match. So [1-9] will match 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, or 9. The pipe ‘|’ means or, and with the two other patterns we can range check from 101-999. Again, I really recommend Googling regular expressions; you’ll find tons of resources.

I work with both Heidenhain and Siemens controls on Mikron equipment. (5 axis) I find the Heidenhain much easier to use. In day today use and performance I much prefer the Heidenhain control . However when it comes to parametric programing the Siemens control will win hands down .

I haven't used a materials library in over a decade. I use HSMAdvisor and the Helical Machining Advisor, and adjust parameters for each cut (except drills and reamers). Makes for a far more efficient program.
