Are you testing in a toolpath or just general selection?
I find it will not stick if you are toolpathing. General selection, works fine. I can't be bothered to send it to QC, I'm already emailing them too much.
I am happy for you and your decade of no problems. I apologize for defaulting to to snark, and I do appreciate you taking the time to reply, but your response is hardly helpful.
I am working with my post supplier to resolve the issue, however, I will on occasion try to wipe my own butt when necessary. I too have been at this for some time (well over 2 decades if we are measuring D's), and I have more than once found better solutions than tech support was able to offer. Clearly, this is probably not going to be one of those times, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't be attempting to understand and work the problem. A better understanding of all the tools in your toolbox makes you a more valuable asset.
Perhaps the post processor development forum is not the best place to seek input and advice on post processor development?
I broke the chains into individual chains (pic 1) and then added avoidance faces(orange in pic 2) which are the top and 'pocket walls, the walls are probably not needed, then it generated. It cannot do the full loop because the top surface is in the way. I did this in 2022 as i don't have 2021 loaded so i haven't included your file
I do not think that is a good suggestion for others though, tools should be defined accurately, I don't know if your saying that all the chamfer mills you buy go down to a .001" point but if you define the chamfer mill properly and use the toolpath properly everything works perfectly, and comes out correctly first try without having to comp the chamfer mill in any way. If your defining your tool incorrectly your going to have a not so fun time out at the machine trying to get the correct results.
