Would anyone else care to share their level strategy?
We will be standardizing our levels and your input will be greatly appreciated.
We will have turning and milling operations, fixturing, dimensions/prints, setup info/clamping,1 to 150 operations, multiple machine groups, multiple toolpath groups...etc....etc.

When using analyze dynamic(which I use frequently)the arrow always appeared where you selected the surface/solid/wire....now it appears 180 deg
from where I selected the geometry. A PIA if your zoomed in on an area.
Also 40% of the time the arrow will not ride on the highlighted surface....it will float in space or ride on an adjacent surface. I have to select surface 2-3-4 times to get it to work.
Another X5 issue is my mouse/cursor will act like it is creating rectangles randomly 3-4 times thru out the day.
It does not create rectangles but dragging the cursor over the screen leaves white rectangles on the screen till I hit escape.
Graphics card settings possible cause?? (i have a NVIDIA Geforce 9800 GT)
Any suggestions for a fix?

I have 450 arcs (holes) spread over 10 BCD's. I need to run 3 tools on each hole. (2 contour ops, 1 drill op)
I would like each tool to start at the outermost BCD then machine in CW direction then
step over to the next smaller BCD then machine in a CW direction and so on and so on.... all nice/neat
and orderly.
I create a new operation...window all arcs....set start point, then go to Chain Mngr, sort options, rotary sort.
I cannot get these tools to run in any orderly fashion .... What am I missing?

gcode, i'll check out the mcam backup

I force autosave using Alt-A constantly. (i never use autosave when "it" prompts me)
I'll shut down mastercam even when all is working fine. (i know a blip can happen at any time)
All our files are saved on the servers here. Locally I have 5 MASTERCAMTEMP folders setup and I'll send copies of the file I am working on to these temp folders. This way if there is a issue with the file and I save it...I'll have 5 copies of the file at various stages in hopes of finding a copy with out issues.
(i've been burned by saved bad files in the past)

Here is answer as what to change in order to post out feedrates in each line of code.
In Post.....go to plinout (see below)
Change `feed to *feed
plinout #Output to NC of linear movement - feed
if not(cuttype <> 0 & xinc = 0 & yinc = 0 & zinc = 0 & ainc = 0 & cinc = 0), #avoid output of feed with no motion when changing between G93 and G94/G95
[
pcan1, pbld, n$, sgfeed, sgplane, `sgcode, sgabsinc, pccdia,
pxout, pyout, pzout, paout, *feed, strcantext, scoolant, e$ #pcout, *feed was `feed
]
Thanks to my "as always" helpful reseller Optipro and Chris Parish.

I need inverse feedrates.
My post only post FR's when they change. I need to post FR's in all lines of code containing XYZ and A moves.
Is there a switch (in the post) I can change to post FR's in all lines?

I have this issue for the first time ever.
>>>
Op View and NCI View
Tool Plane in operation does not match its 1014 line!
ID #38 , Drill/Counterbore
>>>
Has there been a fix found yet? Or does anyone know what causes this issue?
Also this error happens at 1 workstation and not another.(using same MCX.file, both WS running same ver of MC)

Let Admins delete "new topics" if they are not mastercam related.....along the same lines let Admins move a "new topic" to the correct forum.
Also let Admins delete topics that have not been answered after a certain period of time.
Or let members suggest to Admins all of the above. (this should help weed out dead ends and useless topics)
Another item in search.....let us choose beyond 30 days. (maybe in 6 mos increments)

Yes I am working off a network drive. I did save locally and logo printed out.
Unfortunately this is not an acceptable solution. All of our CAD CAM work is located on network drives.
I'll just have to skip the logo or use a different tool sheet.

I back working on X+ tool list.
Crazy.....I tried PDF, still not print logo.
Gunther, firefox would be fine if it was just me a single user. We have multi users here it would be to difficult for SOP to use Firefox for 1 item and IE for all other items.
Any other suggestions on how to get logo to print on tool list?

I need to go thru 12" of stock.(graphite)
I'm looking for OAL to be at least 13.500", flute length doesn't matter.
Gun drill, twist drill........Would anyone know where to purchase?
I've found gun drills that are too long OAL. (19.00" max OAL)
