I'm setting up an old Okuma Wheelmaster twin-turret lathe for production(Cycle time is a definite factor). At the end of the program I have to orientate the chuck for a robot to unload. My first question is, the chuck takes about 5-7 seconds to orientate, is this normal? The next question is, I have tried M63(Ignoring spindle rotation M code answer)and M64(Ignoring general M code answer) but the machine still waits for the chuck to orientate before it does anything, why doesn't it read my M63 & M64?

We just got a rotary forth axis for an okuma mill. I've been playing around with mastercam9 but can't seem to get the hang of it. Is there any good resources out there?
