  1. Maybe a child proof lock???? :D~
  2. On top of what the others have advised. Look at local support for servicing the machine (do they have technicians within reasonable traveling distance). The door height and width into your building, will the machine fit in without removing anything? Adding a pneumatic spindle is a great way of increasing RPM for small cutters.
  3. Buy a post from In-House or Postability. The new IKE posts from In-House create a setup sheet AFAIK.
  4. I have said this before....whoever buys Module Works will rule the kingdom!
  5. We use various loupes, the 10X magnification is hard to use!!!!!! Yes useful for removing metal slivers!
  6. If it is on a rotary unit with Inverse feed rates it can also be way off.
  7. Is the control on your machine set to move the axis in the shortest direction? Posting a Zip to go file will make it easier to look at everything in your setup.
  8. I think Miltera (they created Camplete and sold it to AD) uses these machines https://www.miltera.com/full-list
  9. Vericut gives a warning and I alter it. See the attached photo (old photos I kept for reference). I found switching this number from 0.005" to 0.01" makes the warning disappear in Vericut. Also setting the minimum arc length to a 3 digit number like 0.005" The other option is to linearize all of your arcs.
  10. Some days too many and some days not enough!!!!! Programming, designing and setup/ operating.
  11. Reach out to @cncappsjames for any questions on your new machine!!!!
  12. +100000000000000000 to this comment. Can't stand that!!!!!
  13. I assume as the technology advances further a lot of these things will get sorted out (be more well known and how to design around them).
  14. Without any actual experience with any of these machines.... how stable are the parts when being machined after they are "printed" (warping etc)?
  15. It might be a good idea to have a thread on the Industrial Forum pinned to the top on Transform Toolpath. Some toolpaths (axis substitution) don't work with Rotate so you need to use Translate - Coordinate - Delta
  16. @Aaron Eberhard When would you include the "origin" and when wouldn't you? Always learning from this forum, awesome!!!
  17. Could be your linking parameter settings.
  18. That is the method in that Tutorial I referred him to yesterday.
  19. Look at the In-House free training tutorials "Worm Gear Review" and see how they use a "Scallop" tool path to create a blend on a sharp feature.
  20. Try equal scallop if you haven’t already.
