if i set all tools off table then how do i set z 0.0 to the work piece so i don't have to always keep touching off tools to work pieces and pressing tool length measure. i know i saw a thread about this recently but no luck finding it thanks

i seem to have lost or forgotten what chook change the font style and colour backgroung in the operations manager any help? also is there a chook for changing the text colour in the opewration manager to show what has been done, or is it the same chook im looking for. Keith

under the operation manager go to files then tool settings and make sure you have assign tool number sequential turnded off. this should help you

you need X3 and solidworks installed on the same computer i believe.

quick verify does this.check the box

floating tap head combined with spiral flute tap(something of quality like dormer or emuge) and lots of coolant. I tap holes all the time with no problem. as check that you don't have your depth messed up. Also because it is mild steel it is gummy, so i recomend drilling it a little on the big side if you don't need 75% thread engagement. Good luck let me know how it works out. Keith

i am using x3 and cannot open solidworks 2009 files? i get an error saying "cannot find parasolid file in solidworks file". Do I need to wait for a service pack or what? How do I open these files? Thanks in advance.
