go to Wireframe > Curves > Curve All Edges then select the top large flat surface. You may want to create circles where the holes are.

you only have very small line entities. No arcs or splines. That is why the file is so large and machining unpredictable you could create splines on the curved areas, it will take some time but give much better results.
