Hi, imported STP file, all good , but cannot change solid color - I can using the face option, but have to select them all singly! any ideas using MX9? thx, Steve

X9 (18.0.15514.0) Solids dialog box is not floating anymore and 1/2 filling screen. Cant find a way to restore floating and size. Rebooted pc, tried restoring workspace... no help What's more there is a ghost image of the box when not using solids - so 1/2 the screen is not visible. It's become the ribbon bar.

Hey all, is there a chook to make the bg white - ie to override the settings so you can do a screen grab etc w/o the gradient thing? or is there another way to change it quickly?

Hi all, has anyone been able to make a macro that mirrors an entity, or selection, about one axis, then selects both result and group, and mirrors about other axis, and then... clears colors? All in 2 clicks! I can't get it to work at all. It runs, but nothing happens. It would sure be handy

in case anyone has encountered the following...I'd love any leads. 1 - hour glass when hovering over surfaces 2 - no auto highlight when mousing over things 3 - when in dynam rotate, the surface you click on goes invisible (could be a good feature) 4 - Config box can take 1 min to load 5 - entities deleted when analysed 6 - simply saving the config box, fixes 1-5 otherwise everythings perfect...

What do you all prefer? to have the dynamic rotate (centre mouse) button rotate geometry from screen centre, OR like in V9, to be able to pick a point or entity and rotate about that? You can select a point in X, but you have to go thru a couple extra clicks to get it.

Using X MR1 I have a level with 'alleged' entities, but cant see them. I want to get it off my level list. any tips? Tried a regen display list, but no good there. Tried Screen, Stats, but no entities there, when only level in question is on.

G'day all, can I run an old (but good) Chook called Chcolors I think, in X? It made every surface a different colour in one click - quite useful for those complex jobs that you need to get mind around quickly.

Thans very much for that, but it is gibberish compared to my Heidenhain pst. I get your point tho, re number = name. Will follow that thru somehow.
