Yes that is only way we can do, but it's painful when our programs rarely have just a few units. We have to make shown and opposite parts and they took away the productive little file. Imagine that, is it money?
I'm now reading your posts that all of you started last June. My IT guy just install MC2017 without CGTECH plugin. Here I'm looking for solution on my own. It's S***.
What is happen here? CNC staffs didn't see this post? well our IT didn't care either but I wish someone care enough to answer this question. X9 is the same.
We are using mirror toolpaths all the times here at Boeing and we have no problem with it all. We want it back in X8. Why Mastercam took it out in X8? Is that too painful to leave it in X8. It is not a big file please put it back.
Thanks
C-hook mirrortoolpath is no longer in x8. Why would Mastercam remove this from c-hook? Transforming toolpaths doesn't work with all 5 axis units. It said not allowed. Would someone tell me why they removed this c-hook and what is the alternative way to replace c-hook mirrortoolpaths.
Thanks
it has not crash yet but i can't claim the exact ways to creat custom tools yet. it gave me a different shape tool in the assembly. other than that it works fine. i am not understand about iso 13399. Mastercam don't have much to read about. may be some one can tell me otherwise.
i did a little research in help. It has to meet iso 13399 formats for x7 to recognize it. I am still trying to find what is iso 13399 and how it works.
On the update can we pass over MU1 and go MU2 from X6 stand alone? or go right to MU3? It is a question if someone ask me and i can say with certainty.
thanks
It is ok if you have one point. What happen when you have multiple points. My actuall question is why do they have "center helix on point" in help but not in working unit?
