hello , how do I get x+ to work in 2017 version?.

Hello , i'm running x6 mu3 . my home view in WCS keeps dissapearing and i have to keep resetting it. Is there a way to fix this problem. I also have a problem with the T plane / Cplane updating when i change views. I have the proper settings in configuration settings. Thanks

Hi , I used to plot out mylars in mastercam 9 for our shadow graph in inspection. I now have a new computer and i can't find mcam9 anywhere to download and install. Is it possible to plot in mcam x6. Thanks

Hi all , I posted a 4 axis tee cutter in x4 using the mpmaster post. the feed rates were 200.0 then 100.0 then back to 200.0 in inverse time. I'm now in x5 and I'm doing the same cutting on a mirrored part. The posted code comes out 200.0 then 50.0 the 90.0 . How come it dosen't match the original? Is there a setting in X5 that is causing this?. I did down load the mpmaster x5 version this morning , but it didn't help. any ideas . Thanks alot

Hi all , I never used a helix lead in for pocketing. Is there a rule of thumb for diameter of tool versus the diameter of helix radius and the depth of one revolution ? using a 1/2 end mill what helix radius to use and depth of one revolution? Thanks All

HI , I,m trying to use the "angle" in the x+ set up sheet. It dosen't seem to work. It only posted an angle on 4 of the 20 operations and the angles were wrong. It posted 90 deg. and the angles were 0.0 and 180.0 deg. Were trying to eliminate fat fingering numbers in to cut down on mistakes.I was hoping the "angle" button would post the tool plane angles that we create. problem # 2 - I want to use the "TL_RAd" tool radius but it only puts 2 place decimal, so if my radius is .015 it puts out .02. Is there a way to make it 3 places?. Thanks

if you copy your HOLDER.MCX and all of your other holder files from you tools folder in X4 and paste it into you Tools folder in X5. Then the HOLDER.mcx will work. Then you can open another holder file you have. then save over the HOLDER.mcx and it will work. they are working on the bug. don't save as a holder.mcx-5 must stay holder.mcx Any questions, let me know

Hi , i'm using x5 now , i'm unable to change the default tool holder. In x4 you could go to mill,tools, and change a tool holder to Holder.mcx ,and it would show the new holder that i made. Now it only shows the upper part of the holder that is defaulted in the tool parameter page. I need the tool holders for back plotting 3 axis surface machining operations, sense master slam only does 2 + 5 axis tool holders.Is there a way to use my old tool holders? thanks

starting with 5706 2.0 round bar, then heat treating it 5704-G GRADE. APPROX 40-45 ROCKWELL. THANKS for all the info, at least i have a starting point.
