I have to program for a new to me mill,mori seiki sh 400 horizontal 1989 year.i need basic steps for using center of rotation set up. How to set Z- zero when machining on any angle is my problem.I have only used G54-59 and set Z on the face of the work tombstone at 90 ,180,270 degrees. Any help is appreciated. Thanks. 199499.mcam

Looking for tool choices for new project. I have contoured wall pockets with a .250 radius at the bottom.Material is 6061 T6, pockets are 3.500 inches deep. Machine is Mori Seiki Horizontal with a cube to mount 4 parts,1 on each face. Any good choices? Thanks,Tim

Running X6,I'm using a metric config. and want to tap with a 3/8-16 english tap.I cant seem to get pitch/feed rate right.Wrong settings? Thanks,Tim

Have a new to me SH400 horizontal mill.MSC 518 control. I want to program the machine to identify the pallet in machine and index the pallet out at the end of a program,any ideas?M30 will rotate out only if staging light is on,then gives error warning program not found. Thanks
