  1. Hello, is there a problem with mplmaster since it doesn't seem to activate compensation in control in a canned cycle? Has anyone else noticed this? Take a simple canned roughing cycle (this is metric cam, probably doesn't matter). The current mplmaster post produces this: G54 N1 T0101 G18 G99 M24 G97 S920 M03 G0 X86.5 Z3.25 X84. Z2. G50 S3000 G96 S250 G71 U2. R.2 G71 P3 Q5 U.4 W.2 F.25 N3 G0 X30. S250 W0. (<---- G42 is missing in here) G1 Z-25. G2 X34. Z-27. R2. G1 X43. Z-31. X51. Z-35. X80. Z-43. N5 G40 X84. (<--- compensation off does appear, but it was not activated) Here's what the default lathe post produces: G0 T0101 G18 G97 S947 M03 G0 G54 X84. Z2. G50 S3000 G96 S250 G71 U2. R.2 G71 P100 Q102 U.4 W.2 F.25 N100 G0 G42 X30. S250 (<--- compensation in control appears) G1 Z-25. G2 X34. Z-27. I2. G1 X43. Z-31. X51. Z-35. X80. Z-43. N102 G40 X84. (<--- and is turned off like it should) G0 Z2. For me, this is not really a problem - I can fix my mplmaster post and I already did so. But I'd like to see the "official" fix if this is indeed a bug.
  2. Hello, here's a little problem which is mostly esthetical - except for some Heidenhain controls, it isn't. Obviously, when there's a subprogram, it's in the middle of everything and thus n$ number is whatever it happens to be at that moment. So when you merge the subprograms at peof$ postblock, you get this: ... 124 L Z+30. F MAX 125 TOOL CALL 0 126 M6 127 L M30 0 LBL 1 ; line number should be 128 1 L IY-21.65 R0 F MAX M99 ; 129 here, and so on 2 L IX-18.75 IY-10.826 R0 F MAX M99 ... So, in Heidenhain control, I'd like to get line (seqment) numbers to just keep counting after L M30. I think there was some simple way to do this in a post, can't remember it... (And yes, this is a post problem. I know about "Reset sequence numbers in subprograms" option in Control Definition. If it's not on the line number is just whatever it happens to be at the time the subprogram is created. In this case, 9, 10, 11 etc.)
  3. ...and of course, immediately after I posted that, I got rid of the error, by activating "Control supports subprograms" in control definition.
  4. I got the same error. It seems to happen when you use subout$ = 1 at some point. Subprogram system thinks it is making a tooltable with negative tool numbers. An older post (updated from Mastercam 9) doesn't cause this error, so it's a combination of some flag and using subprograms.
