Hi, I use Mastercam 5 router pro level 1. I received a drawing in .dxf file for a 3D job. Unfortunately they did not send me the wireframe, and I only a 3d shaped drawing with 9454 broken lines. I am not able to connect the lines and keep the shape and I don’t know what to do. I rather stay within my capabilities, and pay somebody else to do these drawings for us unless there is a simple solution. Anyone interested

Hi Brad Thank you for responding to my question. First I started of by renaming the three tools, but that did not work. Then I tried your solution and changed the diameter of the tool and that worked. The ATP is now picking the correct tool for the assigned level of operation. Thanks again.

I am X5 router 1 and having trouble with the tools. I set up an operation library using nine different tools. My problem is with similar tools. I am using three different 3/8 end mill cutters for different operations ( T1 is a compression cutter for perimeter cuts, T4 is for backs only and T9 is suppose to machine pockets) and I export the tooling set up. When I run the ATP those three tools are all over the machining. T1 does pocket and perimeter, T9 also pockets and does perimeters. I know I am setting up the library correctly, because all the other tools are doing what they are programmed to do. Any suggestions? Carpenters

I am looking for someone that can take a 2D .jpg image from a photograph and convert it in 3D(.stl), ready for cutting on a 3 axis simultaneous CNC machine. Hi, I am looking for anyone using X4 ATP. We are utilizing ATP with KCDW. I am having some difficulties understanding set up of the operation library and we are not sure about the labeling. I would appreciate any help on how to. Lena

I agree that the labels are to big and if you do use them, make sure it is the one with removable glue. We did a prefinished maple kitchen with the regular Avery 8163 2"x4" and it was a pain to remove the labels. We are going to try the pen method as layer and having the machine label the parts. Don't know yet if it will work. Sincerely, Lena

Hi, I am new to the forum and I have a question about nesting. I am doing geometry nesting of a part that is 3"x 9" with 10 drill holes. I have no problems picking the drilling, but I can't select the outside geometry or the inside geometry I created in different level. Can anyone give me a quick answer. Tanks
