  1. The Mill-Turn post uses the structured code which is a bit to rap your head around. When you upload the code on the machine the machine should have individual files for each operation/sub program. I'm probably getting the terminology wrong here. Its been a while since I've programmed one of these machines. The last time I was onsite with this machine (beginning of 2020) the DMG tech gave the reasoning for the sub programs on the control being their own file and it made sense at the time. I cant remember exactly what he said though so I apologize. This is a really neat machine I think you will like it once you figure out how it runs but that learning curve is steep compared with other machines. There are not many people who have this machine so its tough to get information about how other people are running it. I'm pretty sure it accepts non structured (ISO) code as well but the techs prefer the structure code so its best to stick with what they prefer.
  2. @amwOur free IKE posts do not support RAH heads out of the box. If you want a quote please reach out to your Mastercam reseller for one.
  3. In-House Solutions sets up their posts with an Axis combination for RAH support. If you got the post from another developer they might do it differently (misc. value perhaps)? The post has the kinematics in it so adding an aggregate to your tool page wont work. As said above you need likely need to add logic to the post to support RAH. @amwno Mill Default and mpmaster do not support RAH's
  4. I worked with a local customer who had this machine and the Mill-Turn product. The structure code is very different from .mpf Siemens code. Once you get things figured out with the machine/programming the structure code benefits are large. Its definitely a learning curve though. Good luck and have fun learning the machine/code.
  5. If you purchased the post the company that wrote the post should have a backup copy of the post. If you know who your purchased the post from you should be able to reach out and get your copy back. You could try mpmaster there is a HMC machine def included in the files. If you try that post WCS should equal TOP and tool/Cplane would be FRONT, RIGHT, BACK or LEFT for the primary planes.
  6. @dhamatharan please see the eMastercam Forum Rules & Guidelines here: https://www.emastercam.com/forum-pages/forum-guidelines/ If you want to contact a Mastercam reseller to get a license of the software you can locate a reseller here: https://www.mastercam.com/find-a-reseller/
  7. Does the software start? I think that's just showing you the license is enabled. If the software starts I'd just close the window and keep on going.
  8. Its likely due to the way the collision checking is setup or how machine features were setup in your models. I'm thinking the sheet metal should be part of the machine housing?
  9. Can you put the Mastercam file up here. If you do that I'm sure someone will remove the old stock for you.
  10. What happened to the emoticons!?! emoticons are still there you just need to hover over the trophy to see them.
  11. Check out the benchmark thread Benchmark 3.0. A lot of the guys will post the computer specs here.
  12. Looks like I miss understood the question. I thought they were trying to pull the NC file name into the report. I did a search around and cant find anyways to change the file name when you save. Perhaps someone at CNC Software could provide some input here. I doubt this is the first request they've received asking this questions.
  13. If you click on the Help button and see the Setup Sheet XML Outline and Tag Glossary Overview. This will tell you what tags are available to have the information pulled into the setup sheet.
  14. You can change the line width of the surface UV Lines or the Surface density. Select the part or surface press F4 and change the line width or surface density.
  15. Loft requires 2 chains. One at the bottom and one at the top. I would offset the 1 chain (top) to be smaller then the bottom chain. Make sure you select the same start point on both chains otherwise you will get a surprise when it creates the model.
  16. is the part file on your local computer or are you reading it from a network location. I see E:\ maybe try putting the part file on your desktop and see if that makes a difference.
  17. Hi, You need an license to run Mastercam. Do you know if your using a NetHasp or Hasp?
  18. Cimco has some software that can assist you in keeping revision history clear, you can setup different permissions for modifying files and if the file gets modified on the machine and pushed back to the server you can set permissions before it writes over the last version. Cimco NC base would be a decent way to start (link below). They also have a product called MDM which sounds similar to your current setup. https://www.cimco.com/software/cimco-nc-base/overview/
  19. I moved this from the post processor form to the industrial form. It will get more views here and hopefully people will be able to assist. My first question is what are your computer specs and graphic card specs? Is the GPU drivers updated to the latest version?
  20. Mastercam gives you 999,999 levels. I understand what your thinking but I don't think its really needed.
  21. As Colin explained subroutines with 5-Axis aren't typically output from Mastercam. If you can provide us with some sample code of what you are expecting to see it might be something the post team can investigate setting up. You can do a toolpath transform in Mastercam but that really just saves you time from re-programming a similar feature on your part.
  22. In-House Solutions can provide a post for this DMU70 machine. Please ask your reseller to reach out to us for a quote.
  23. If you are using mpmaster downloaded from this site with no mods you will need logic added into it to support the aggregate.
  24. I can say that Nakamura NTJ-100 post that was tested onsite had a lot of time put into developing it. The developer who worked on it did great job and that's why the post worked so well right out of the box.
