  1. Surface contour or HSM waterline should be able to make it. With Mill2D, trick could be to use only 1 surface at a time (or make 1 from several if needed/doable)
  2. @nperry One thing to pay attention is that deburr toolpath is a multiaxis toolpath and you usually need to set operation planes to "top/top/top" (here your custom WCS A0/A0/A0). Tool axis control page is where you set your tool axis control^^. I modified your original file that way, using solid edges (=lines) to control tool plane for each operation and it should post A axis motion fine. DEBURRFILE.zip
  3. @nperry It reminds me of parts i deburred a few years ago with morph (now it's converted to unified). It may help. deburr-with unified.mcam
  4. Yes, pretty annoying to work around when needed. I reported this to qc a few releases back but still not fixed (didn't try in 2024 though).
  5. About the edit issue, I found that it was related to the plane manager specifically (not really toolpath manager). To be able to edit 3D tools components, plane manager needs to be docked with settings panel.
  6. Where is this adaptive feedrate setting? I never used it and i’m pretty curious. However I know about feed control zone, here is a video showing its use
  7. @Jobnt If you ever convinced it, i updated NetHook to display levels used. Hope this can help.
  8. I just updated Nethook to display every level numbers used per toolpath (or per chain). (link below) ShowChainGeometry.zip
  9. @Jobnt Did you try nethook I talked about above? It should work with threadmill + wire entity.
  10. In cut pattern there is an option to round internal corners. It may help.
  11. @mirek1017 Don't you have this checked default ?
  12. @mirek1017 You made surfaces for walls/floor but your floor surfaces are reversed. That's why it won't regen correctly.
  13. @tiredtoolmaker I guess Spiral Chook is now standard in Mastercam (wireframe/shape/spiral). With this you can create a spiral geometry (a nurbs spline entity) as you wish then directly chain it with a 2D contour. Use toolpath filter to get clean arcs.
  14. @francesko This is probably related to your lead-in/out. Please share a file to get more help.
  15. Another thing to pay attention if you are using the new 'fit rapid radius' in linking page: It is worth checking in the control definition and/or post that rapid motions X/Y/Z are not broken... I almost been bitten, hopefully Vericut saved my arse.
  16. @Jobnt Yes, but remember it will work only for legacy chain based toolpaths with wire entity.
  17. @Jobnt You can try my netHook for chain based toolpaths like 2D contour. It will activate levels used by toolpaths automatically.
  18. Yes, if you enter trim panel, selection bar will be active.
  19. However you can trim wire entities to solid edges. You can deactivate solid edges in selection bar on the top of the graphic area.
  20. I still use an old Spacepilot I like it because i mapped buttons 1-3 to mouse buttons (left-middle-righh) for my right hand to rest. It's OK with Mastercam but 3D mouse doesn't work with Vericut anymore since V9. I should try a Spacemouse pro to check if 1-4 buttons could suit my fingers. Need to find budget though^^
  21. Lathe tool database may be very heavy if you are using a lot of 3D tools. Mine is about 300Mbytes (about 100 3Dtools) and on a slow local network it’s not usable.
  22. I guess you should look in linking tab to make tool to retract. (Sorry for french localization screenshot)
  23. I don't think you need admin rights. There is no installation it's just a matter of copy/paste files in Documents folder. You need to copy NetHook files (PlanesRelativeWCS.dll and PlanesRelativeWCS.ft) in '../my Mastercam 2023/Mastercam/Add-ins' folder. Then you'll need to restart Mastercam and you should find commands to customize your ribbon/QAT/RMB.
  24. I think Chad's issue is not only to create the planes but rather setting them quickly as 'Cplanes' once they have been created. The 'WCS' relative plane creation commands of X9 has been removed from status bar but it still exist in the plane manager (or can be added to QAT/ribon/RMB) However they have been simplified and the smart logic existing in the X9 commands has been removed. A logic was implemented so that if the plane already existed in the plane manager, it was automatically selected as 'Cplane' and done. Post X9, if the plane already exists (same matrix and same origin), the commands systematically prompt you to create a new plane (duplicate). NetHook I shared above has this logic and it's a time saver in my workflow.
  25. @Thad @Leon82 When 2017 was released I missed how 'red plane icons' worked in X9 too. So i made a netHook, still use it daily with 2023, check my signature or here is Topic
