  1. AHhhhhhhhhhh Thank you everyone, It was definitely the position of the "q1". had to align it directly over another command line. Who woulda thought that mattered. Success! thank you again. have a nice day all.
  2. thank you very much for your replies, everyone.. However still no luck. (put the space in also, alma) I now have: fq 1 which Please input 1 or 2 q1 and have tried: fq 1 which "Please input 1 or 2" q1 nada: Nothing what so ever happens.
  3. ok, i have put in the below where shown: Nothing happened, except it cut out the header lines on the program. But no pause, no prompts? #Top of NC program... fq 1 which "Please input 1 for B-Axis, 0 for Non-B-Axis" q1 "%", e$ *progno$, e$ etc........ I PUT "which : 0" in the variable defin . section.
  4. Am trying to add a prompt in my milling post to ask for info and input it as a variable to the post. I have tried version 9's method but no result (no error either.) example: fq 1 enter z value q1 etc. thanks.
