  1. Goal: My goal is to create a program and set-up sheet that I can hand off to a CNC Set-up/Operator with explicit instruction to enable him to set-up and run good parts on a CNC machine. Sound familiar? I'm looking for a user friendly, customizable set-up sheet template that can be generated through the MastercamX4 software and applied in the real world. Every add-on that I have encountered either gives too much or not enough information. I have a template that I created in a spreadsheet format that I currently use that literally fits on 1 page, but filling in the blanks is very time consuming. I’ve seen the bells and whistles of Active Reports, but even my local Mastercam distributor (tech support) can’t figure it out. Does anyone have a practicable solution? Thanks
  2. I'm looking for a local users group in the Cleveland, Ohio area. A place where Mastercam users can connect and exchange ideas. Is there such a place? Thanks
  3. CNC Apps Guy 1 It's a Viper V-850 VMC, 10 HP, Fanuc O-MD control, Mfg. 2002. DavidSV G8? Tell me more. Thanks!
  4. Thanks CNC Apps Guy 1, is there any other alternatives?
  5. High Speed Machining not an option on my VMC with Fanuc OM control. Trochoidal milling can be achieved but not perfected. The dimensions that I program are not accurate to what's actually machined. I've learned that when I machine a simple counter bore, the feed rate cannot exceed 20 IPM or the tool cuts .03 undersize. My question is: Does the machine have to have the "High Speed Option" to perform machining ballet or is there another way? Thanks, any input would be appreciated!
