Keith A-1, I do the steps like you say, I lock the distance red but after I pick my surface and hit enter it's back to 1.00. Any ideas of what I might be doing wrong?
Try using the "regenerate display list" icon. It's
the orange icon with what looks like a paint brush. The same thing happens to me sometimes and this usally fixes it.
It's in the same box that's asking you if you want to save but I believe that only turns it off for that file. When you start a new file you will have to check it again.
Hi all. Has anyone else noticed their "tolerance" settings changing by themselves. I set my maximum surface deviation to .00025 and the system tolerance to .0003. Hit the green check to save setting then exit. I then open it up again to see that my settings are still there, and they are. Then I open a new iges file and check settings again, but now they are different. Maximum surface deviation is now at .000328084 and system tolerance is at .0000393701. WTF
MCX4 MU3
Were these files your opening created with X4 MU3?
I only see this happen when I open earlier files that I created prior to MU3. I have never seen this happen with any files that I created using MU3.
