  1. That was it! Thanks! Sort of lazy on my part to not click around a bit to see if I could figure it out, but reading the click boxes, I didn't think those would affect my length. Thank again.
  2. Thanks... but I'm still getting a bad side.
  3. Hi, When I draw a line from origin and lock the length, I would assume every line after that would be the same length, but they are not. Am I missing something? Thanks.
  4. Hi, I'm pretty sure my geometry is correct, but loft is creating a bad side on my solid. File attached. Thanks in advance for any ideas. Test.emcam
  5. Just thought I'd update this thread in case anyone cared... "This is now logged as R-28493."
  6. I wonder what the real Rekd would tell me... not the imposter Rekd!
  7. I did a quick search and didn't see this issue, so I apologize if it has been brought up and resolved. In MasterCam 2022, if I create a stock model and then change my post processor, my stock model goes dirty and needs to be regenerated. Anyone have this problem? Is there a solution I don't know about? Thanks!
  8. +1 to the proper fire extinguisher... and a bucket of sand to smother it too. +1 to keep clearing the chips out of the machine often to minimize the chance of a big fire... and empty the machine completely when everyone goes home... then... all chips are removed from the shop and taken outside and away from the building, so if a fire starts, it is contained in a proper container away from everything. +1 to it cutting like aluminum... well sort of... more like 7075 aluminum... it’s a bit tougher on tools because it’s abrasive, but not too bad. The biggest thing to tell operators is, be careful not to rub a steel tool holder spinning in the spindle against a steel clamp, stud or fixture... the one fire I seen, started by the sparks of steel to steel contact that ignited some loose chips on top of the part. It’s not a big deal as long as proper precautions are taken seriously.
  9. 13 year old computer... 6 minutes, 59 seconds. Don't be jealous.
  10. Gunther... any timeline on when you might update this Chook for Mcam 2021 or does the Beta version work for the full release? Thanks EDIT: Okay... never mind... I installed and tried the PB1 and it works great. Thanks again Gunther!!! Great add on!
  11. Thanks guys. I just tried it. That is unbelievably cool!!! I will definitely be using this one!
  12. What's the auto regen chook? Can you briefly describe it and how it helps? Also, can you point me to it? I don't see it in the standard chooks. Thanks.
  13. I got through the Microsoft cloned ribbon bar change... somehow... so I'm not sure how much harder they could make it on me than that.
  14. I'm pretty flexible. If I had my rathers, I'd probably stick with the old way... but only because it is ingrained in my head and muscle memory. My favorite way of chaining is Cplane and full chain... even when there is a partial chain needed... partial still works because after my first click on full chain, and it goes all the way around... I can click a second time on the final entity and it terminates there. So... having said that... I have a feeling once I get used to it, I'll be just as happy with it set to last. Keep the changes coming, I say... I'll adapt and maybe even be the better for it!
  15. I never even noticed it there before... just went with the defaults. Who knows, maybe I'll like it better this way.
  16. I understand the System Configuration settings would get quite expansive if you made everything optional. I guess it's just another thing to get used to... not that big of a deal. Thanks for the reply Pete!
  17. So, I noticed in Mcam 2021, when I change my chaining to "partial" for example... the next time I use chaining, it is still in "partial." Same thing if I use "Plane." It defaults to the last way I used it. I would rather it just defaulted to 3D every time, like it always has, instead of defaulting to the last way I chained something. I looked, but I can't find a setting for the way chaining defaults. Am I stuck with this change or can someone point me to a setting to control this? Thanks!!!!
  18. Can you post a file? I mean, I'm sure if it's logged as a problem, it's legit... but I wouldn't mind messing with it for reference. I use stock models... sometimes a dozen or more in a file... and I never have issues. I'm like to see what's happening there. What issue did you find?
  19. What's wrong with the stock models?
  20. Final Update... Since we removed the NetHasp and switched over to the Codemeter software... everything has been flawless. We have not had one single problem logging in... and no one has been kicked off... not even once... it's been about 2 weeks. For anyone having trouble with the Nethasp... consider contacting your dealer and asking to "upgrade" to the Codemeter software licensing.
  21. Stop telling me what to do.
  22. Just messin' with him. Who are you... the troll police?
  23. Just trying to keep you informed.
  24. I'll send you a message every time there is a post in this thread. I just wanna help I can quote it for you if you don't want to come here to look?
